From 1 March 2023, you won't be able to receive money to your TRY balance. Because of a recent regulation change, we'll no longer be able to offer TRY account details to customers with Türkiye address.
This means that:
- You won't be able to receive money into your TRY balance.
- Payments sent to your previous TRY account details after 1 March will be automatically rejected.
- You can add TRY to your own balance via your Wise account.
- You can keep holding money in your TRY balance.
Nothing will change for the balances you hold in other currencies — you'll still be able to use their account details to receive money. And you can keep sending and converting from and to TRY, and other currencies, normally.
