Financial Documents

  • Turkish Bank Statements: 6 months: Signed and stamped by a Turkish bank, demonstrating that you meet the minimum income requirement.
  • Maaş Documents: 3 months: Salary statements from the employer, signed and stamped, to verify employment and income. (Only TC Host)

Income Requirements:

  • Foreign Applicants:
    • Main Applicant: TL 25,503/month
    • Additional Applicant (Spouse or Child): TL 8,500/month
  • Turkish Citizen Sponsors:
    • Turkish Citizen: TL 17,002/month (to sponsor a foreign spouse or child)
    • Additional Foreigner (Spouse or Child): TL 5,700/month

The minimum net salary for 2024 is set at 17,002 Turkish Lira.

Property Documents

Ensure you have a TAPU (official property deed) and DASK (mandatory earthquake insurance). If you are under a sponsorship or hosting arrangement, include the taahhütname (undertaking) along with the host's ID.

For homeowners who purchased their property before October 16, 2023, a GABIM valuation report is required.

If staying in a hotel, provide a letter of intent, the hotel's business documents, and a receipt for the most recent month's payment.

It’s advisable to also obtain your 'Numerataj' document from the local city hall, known as 'Belediye' in Turkish. This document serves as the official record for the building's address plate and your specific unit number, if applicable.

Utility Documents

Securing utilities in your name for water, electricity, and natural gas is crucial (propane canisters are not included). An internet bill may be considered as a last resort but is generally not acceptable except in specific situations.

If you are under a sponsorship agreement, known as a "taahhütname" in Turkey, you will need the host's utility bill registered in their name.

Ensure your e-Devlet documents are no older than 30 days by the date of your interview. Most documents have an expiry date, so it is best to download fresh versions each time.
